Misty Peak Publishing is pleased to announce they have signed Author Bette Jennings and her novel Carrie's Farm to their list of titles. Carrie's Farm promotional tour kicked off with Bette introducing her new novel Sunday, October 21, 2007 at a book release party in Twin Falls, Idaho at the Red Lion Inn.

Carrie's Farm is fictional; however the location where the story takes place is Bette's Grandfathers farm in Oregon. As you are drawn into the story, it's easy to forget it's fictional as the story grabs your attention. The romantic, heart-wrenching tale will appeal to many readers. The characters become friends as we are drawn into their individual dramas. Events and characters intertwine to tell a love story that is bursting with secrets, but love will prevail in a most surprising way.

Bette has received a lot of publicity including a news article in the Times News in Twin Falls, Idaho, as well as being a guest on The Music Monster KTPZ-FM 94.3 before departing to Yuma, Arizona for the winter. After her arrive in Arizona Bette was featured in an excellent article in the Sunday Edition of THE SUN in Yuma.

Reviews for Carrie's Farm

It is a must buy for all who believe in the power of love.

I really have enjoyed this book. One of the things I liked about this book is it came around a full circle. It wasn't like a lot of books that leave you wondering what happened to the characters at the end of the book.
If anyone out there has had a special grandparent like Bepo in this story then your heart will be filled with all the lovely memories once again.
If you believe in love at first sight "as do I" then this is a book for you to buy.
Ms. Jennings leads you through sadness and joy in this book. You just fall in love with most of the characters in this book. Plus a few twist and turns that you never saw coming.
For readers who just want to take a day and relax then this is the book for you to buy. You will be transported to Carrie's Farm but be careful as you may find you don't want to leave.

A Love Story You Won't Forget
October 15, 2007
Carrie's Farm is best described as a romantic, heart-wrenching tale that will appeal to many readers. The characters become friends as we are drawn into their individual dramas. Events intertwine to tell a love story that is bursting with secrets, but love will prevail in a most surprising way. This novel feels more like a conversation with a close friend, than a book full of words.

This had enough mystery to make me want to know how it ended and enough romance to keep it fun to read. This is a great 'beach read'!
